THE MUNICIPALITY of TEMAGAMI HOSTS TEMISKAMING SMALLMOUTH BASS SERIES 9th & 10th QUALIFIERS
Saturday Aug. 9th anglers where greeted with showers that would last all day long on Cassels Lake , but as the day wore on anglers gave it their all determined to catch fish no matter how hard it rained .
This is only the 2cd year we have had a Tournament on Cassels Lake and all teams caught fish and reported that they saw some really big Bass.
The team that not only seen big Bass but managed to catch them was Denis Aubin & Wayne Barnes who came in with a bag of fish that weighed 19.12lbs , that’s almost a 4lb average for 5 fish .
The team also won big fish with a Bass that was 4.4lbs.
The team of Paul Boucher & Jason Mazzocato came up short of a win but managed to pull off another great weight on Cassels with 13.70 lbs to take second place.
Al & Darryl Dumas followed with another good weight of 13.4lbs to take 3rd place and said they lost another big one that would have gave them big fish , but that’s another story .
Our Tournament coordinators for Cassels Lake who collect the money and ran the event flawlessly , Carole & Calven Neill said they did not wish to have their picture taken today because they said they would be lots of photos tomorrow.
