Pat & Eric Bazinet Win Last Qualifyer of the year held on Lake Temagami
The last chance to qualify for the Classic on September the 17th and 18th was held on Sunday Aug.28th as 32 teams gathered
to see who could find the 5 winning fish that are usally tight lipped this time of year. Do the Bass just have too much
feed or are they moving to thier fall feeding area,s , these are the things that anglers need to figure out this time of
year, and thats just what the team of Pat & Eric Bazinet did as the team came back to the scales at 3 pm with 14.94lbs
of fish to take 1st place. This has been a great year for the team ,one of those years you dream about and when it happens
its puts you on a roll that just does not stop all year.

Lots of teams seen big fish, but if you dont put them in the boat you cant weigh them in, and with only 4 1/2hrs to fish
do to battery problems my partner Steve McLean and I managed to but 14.78lbs into the boat before we broke down.
This would give us enough weight to win 2cd place in the Tournament plus Big fish of the day weighing 4.18lbs.
MAN I sure hope this is the end of our bad luck streek.LOL

Wayne Barns has had good luck fishing Temagami and Michel Hamelin decided to team up with Wayne and see if they could close
the deal on winning the event here again. The team brought 12.66lbs to the scales which gave them tghe 3rd plce win , but
they said they lost some really big ones that would have gave them 1st place. S-U-R-E Wayner s-u-r-e LOL.

rounding out the top 8 are
Gilbert & Rachel Maille with 12.60lbs
Martin Bazinet & Robin Brouillette with 11.40lbs
Brian Van Mierlo & Josh McKay with 10.34lbs
Ray Willick & Rob Hyatt with 9.60lbs
Brad Gilson & Howard Gifford with 9.04lbs
